My love for film began with a simple craving for the escapism offered through stories put to screen, a chance to immerse myself in another world that promised excitement and adventure.

 

As I grew older, this passion continued to expand and develop as I came to learn about the craft, process and creative technique behind each and every production, whether it be a piece of fiction, realism, or even promotional material.

 

This level of care and thought given to the artistry of film inspired me to pursue media production academically so that I could better understand how to both tell stories of my own and voice my individual thoughts, feelings, and perspectives on the world.

 

Studying media at college hasn’t changed my aspirations but rather shown me how to achieve them. With my knowledge and experience expanding all the time, I have been able to bring ideas to fruition that previously would have been nothing more than dreams.

 

When working on a concept of my own, I like to approach a topic that deserves more thought and attention than is generally given to it, this gives the audience a chance to reflect upon an aspect of life that may have escaped them otherwise.

 

My ultimate dream is to become a director and screenwriter, sharing with people stories that in turn may encourage a more open and enlightened outlook on the world.
